About Group Classes
Group Ballroom and Latin classes are run as termly courses. They’re designed to be progressive, allowing you to learn and continuously improve without frustration! The Beginners course is designed for novices, so if you’ve never danced before, or have only a little experience, this is the course for you!
From here you can progress the next term to the Intermediate level class, and Advanced after that! Of course, you can also take part in Short Courses and Workshops along the way!
About Short Courses
Short Courses are three-week courses designed to get you dancing quickly and confidently if you are a newcomer, or hone your existing skills if you’re already a seasoned dancer. Each course focusses on one particular dance style, so you are able to learn in more depth and work on longer routines. We’ll talk about technique, foot positions and hip movements to make your dance look professional, whilst still keeping it fun of course!
These courses are designed to compliment the main courses, but you can also attend them in their own right. They are suitable for all levels unless otherwise stated.
Workshops are classes which focus on one dance or specific principle of dance, allowing you to understand more in depth and work on a certain idea to improve your dancing. In the past, workshops have included each dance in its’ own right, as well as Styling and Performance, Turns, and Social Dance.
Workshops are designed for different levels of dancer, so please choose the level that suits you best.
